Jio users can still recharge with old prepaid plan, this is the way

🏵️Reliance Jio had updated all its plans on December 6. After which Jio's prepaid plans became expensive by about 39 per cent. However, there is still a way to recharge from Jio's old prepaid plan.

🌺The reason behind this is TRAI's Tariff Protection Compliance.  Under this, telecom companies have to keep any tariff plan available for at least six months. Other telecom operators also follow this, but it is not easy to access their old plans compared to Jio.

🍄For old Jio plan, you have to login to your Jio account. After logging in, click on the Settings icon next to the box containing the Jio number. On clicking, your tariff protection option will appear. Clicking on it will bring the list of old prepaid plans, here you can select your favorite plan and recharge it.

🌷However, one thing to keep in mind here is that the tariff protection option will work only if there is no active plan on your number. If a plan will be active on your number then you will not be able to take advantage of this facility.
