If you have an Android or IOS device, you can easily share your location with another person and other person can do the same for you. You can easily download Google map from the playstore in Android mobile.

It means that you can check the real time location of the person by using Google map app or by visiting the website.
With the help of this app you will be able to see their last known location as well as the battery life of their phone also.Google map is only for Android users only while Iphone users can use apps like Find Phone or Find Friends app ,which is considered as the better option than Google Maps ,bit for android users it's a great option

How to Share Location Using Google Map

Before sharing  locations, both people must have a Google account ,which is mandatory.
They should be in one's another contact list which will happen automatically when they sent a message or e-mail to each other.

As your mobile phones have gps systems due to which you can get the locations and can be tracked and you can only do this from your phones. If you use this feauture from website then you can only view location that have been shared  with you. But if you'rusing an Android or an IOS then the process is identical.

1. Firstly, open the Google Maps App and sign in to google account in order to do location sharing process. 
   
   
   
2. After that tap the menu hamburger icon at the left of the corner.
   
3. Now choose Location Sharing > Add People. It’s a little icon that looks like a plus symbol next to a little person.
   
4. Now it's upto you that how long you would like to share your location for. It’s set to one hour (by default).
   
5. Then you have to tap on select People.
6. Where you have to type the email address of the person you want to share your location with into this blank box.
7. Once you write the email address of the person and confirm, they’ll see your real time location in their Google Maps app. 

That's it now you’ll never worry about your loved ones again!
